Jill’s focus on behavioral health institutional planning guides all design disciplines in areas of facility accreditation, evidence-based compliance with National Patient Safety Goals, and applicability of building codes and standards. With a particular focus on risk reduction in patient care areas Jill works closely with clinical teams to identify and mitigate assault, injury and ligature risks through space planning, plan design and specification of safe, durable and therapeutic behavioral health products, interior finishes and furniture. Jill is a certified planner and holds a master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University at Buffalo.
