Project Location: Salamanca, NY
A|r is collaborating with NYS Parks to design four new comfort stations in Allegany State Park that focus on durability, flexible interiors, inclusivity, and privacy. Design elements of the new construction strive to balance features of traditional wood frame structures already native to the park with a more contemporary interpretation. The all-inclusive comfort stations will provide restroom and shower facilities for guests to the park in a space that respects the natural landscape with non-intrusive vernacular architecture.
