Peter is a principal at A|r and leader in the firm’s higher education and urban design practice. His work, over the past thirty years, encompasses a broad range of interconnected project types including iconic civic buildings, university campuses, innovation districts, urban revitalization, and waterfront design. Peter’s design methodology is acutely focused on collaborating with his clients and constituents to create responsive physical space that is inspirational and evocative. He firmly believes in the power of planning and architecture to positively impact the lives of each and every individual and the vital importance of well-designed civic places in our society. He has worked with more than 25 educational institutions on campus master plans and student-centered new buildings. He embraces academic research and has always recognized the symbiotic relationship between practice and teaching. Peter is a registered architect and certified planner and received a Master of Architecture from the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning.
