Buffalo

In 2001 we acquired our current offices in the historic Allentown neighborhood. The 1873 Italianate house was designed by Francis W. Caulkins for Daniel Francis and remained in the Francis family for several generations. Longevity must be in the soil as the Francis family was followed by three generations of the Quackenbush & Co. mechanical contracting company until they consolidated their offices just outside Buffalo. In the 1930's a large garage was added to the rear of the house which was later expanded into a two story structure in 1970.

The entire 8,000 square foot facility was completely renovated for our design spaces with a combination of historic renovation for the house and a dramatic two story studio in the former garage. Today our office is an impressive professional working environment and concrete statement of our commitment to Buffalo. Visitors are welcome at any time.

New York

Since 1999 we have maintained an office in New York City to administer projects and clients in the downstate region. Our office is located in the historic Bayard-Condit Building, the only structure in New York designed by Louis Sullivan. The splendid white terra cotta facade was recently restored and worth a visit by any admirer of Beaux Arts influenced neoclassical design.
